Peter J. Johnson founded his firm, Johnson Law Group, P.S., in 1983. He has almost 40 years experience in all aspects of civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Johnson represents private clients; insurance companies; self-insurers; policyholders; businesses; professionals; and city, county and state governments throughout Eastern Washington and Idaho. He has extensive experience and a strong record of success in matters involving insurance coverage issues for both insurers and policyholders; bad faith claims; municipal, county and state liability; and plaintiff personal injury litigation including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims.
Mr. Johnson’s extensive litigation experience is invaluable in his mediation practice. He obtained certification as a mediator through the University of Washington. He has mediated numerous cases involving a multitude of issues including professional malpractice, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, guardianships, fiduciary duty, probate and estate disputes, personal injury, medical negligence, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death, commercial carrier liability, real estate disputes, business dissolutions, and insurance claims.
In addition to his representation of insurance companies, policyholders and claimants, Mr. Johnson has served as an expert witness regarding insurance issues and fiduciary duty.
